Ingredients For banana pudding

  • two boxes banana cream instant pudding and pie filling mix 3.4 ounces each
  • three medium bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups vanilla wafers, such as nabisco nilla wafers
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ground nutmeg for garnish optional

How To Make banana pudding

  • 1
    make pudding mix according to package directions. Layer pudding, banana slices and vanilla wafers evenly among four large wine glasses or dessert bowls. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.

    In a medium bowl, beat cream and sugar at high speed with a mixer just until stiff peaks form. Beat in vanilla. Spoon whipped cream over puddings. Garnish with nutmeg if desired. Makes four servings
