Ingredients For banana ice box cake

1 boxnilla vanilla wafers

1 cmilk
-
1/2 csugar
-
1/3 cflour
-
dash salt
-
3egg yolks
-
2 cmilk
-
1 tspvanilla flavoring

4-5bananas, sliced

2containers cool whip
How To Make banana ice box cake

1Mix sugar, flour, and salt in top of double boiler. Blend in egg yolks and milk. Cook, uncovered over boiling water 10 to 12 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Set aside.

2Use an 8-inch springform pan. Dip each cookie quickly in the milk. Layer Nilla wafers on the bottom.

3Top with some pudding just a thin layer. Add a layer of sliced bananas.

4Top with Cool Whip and repeat for about 3 layers or until you reach the top.

5Add Cool Whip on top and sides. Add chopped Nilla wafers on top, if desired.

6Chill for 6 hours.
