Ingredients For apple cottage pudding

  • 6-10
    apples your choice
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    royal baking powder-or your choice
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract-real
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, melted

How To Make apple cottage pudding

  • 1
    Peel,core and slice apples thin.Put apples in a buttered tin.Mix together milk, butter, flour, sugar, baking powder and vanilla. Pour batter over apples and bake in a moderate oven until done, about 45 minutes.Serve with cream or lemon sauce. This is good with other fruits, too.
