1 1/2 Tbspunflavored gelatin

2 cwhipping cream

1 tspvanilla extract

3/4 cvanilla ice cream

1 1/2 cmilk

2eggs
-
2 1/4 Tbspcornstarch

9 Tbspsugar

8 Tbspcold water

19 inch baked pie shell
How To Make vanilla bavarian cream pie

1Soften gelatin in cold water.

2Scald the milk.

3In a mixing bowl, mix together sugar and cornstarch.

4Add eggs and mix thoroughly.

5Add milk and softened gelatin, stirring constantly.

6Cook custard in double boiler over hot water until it thickens and coats spoon.

7Remove from heat.

8Add ice cream while custard is hot.

9Cool thoroughly.

10Add vanilla.

11Whip the cream and fold 1 1/2 cups into cooled custard.

12Pour filling into pie shell, and refrigerate until set.

13Garnish with remaining whipped cream.
