Ingredients For topless blueberry pie

  • 3 c
    blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1
    fresh or frozen pie crust
  • 1/4 c
    chopped walnuts (optional)

How To Make topless blueberry pie

  • 1
    Bake frozen pie crust in oven for time listed on package and then let cool.

    Mix 2 cups of blueberries with cornstarch, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook blueberry mixture in microwave for 3 minutes. Stir and then microwave for another 3 minutes until thickened.

    Add 1 additional cup of blueberries to microwave blueberry mixture. Pour combined mixture into pre baked pie shell. My add chopped walnuts to top of pie.

    Put pie in refrigerator to cool for an hour and then serve.
