2 cfinely chopped pecans

1 3/8 cconfectioners' sugar

8semisweet chocolate squares

1/4 cmilk

14 ozcaramels
- FILLING INGREDIENTS

1/4 cbutter, melted

1/4 csugar

1/2 tspvanilla
How To Make the ultimate caramel chocolate pecan pie

1Cool.

2FILLING: Melt caramels with 1/4 cup milk in heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth.

3Pour over crust; sprinkle with pecans.

4Stir chocolate, 1/3 cup milk, powdered sugar and vanilla in heavy saucepan over very low heat just until melted.

5Pour over caramel pecan filling spreading to edges of pie.

6Refrigerate.

7Serve with sweetened whipped cream if desired.

8CRUST: Heat oven to 350 degrees.

9Mix pecans, sugar and butter.

10Press onto bottom and sides of 9 inch pie plate.

11Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
