Ingredients For tamale pie w/ chicken

    cans swanson chunk chicken, drained, flaked
  • 1
    4.5 oz can chopped green chilis, drained
  • 2 tsp
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 c
    reduced-fat, shredded mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 c
    bisquick heart smart mix
  • 1/2 c
    cornmeal
  • 3/4 c
    fat-free milk
  • 1
    egg
  • 1
    can mexicorn w/ peppers, drained
  • lettuce for garnish
  • sour cream for garnish
  • salsa for garnish

How To Make tamale pie w/ chicken

  • 1
    Heat oven to 400. Spray a 9" pie pan w/ cooking spray. Stir into pan the chicken, chilis and taco seasoning. Sprinkle w/ cheese.

    In bowl, stir together bisquick mix, cornmeal, egg and corn until blended.Pour over chicken mix.

    Bake 25-30 min or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cut into wedges. Top w/ lettuce, sour cream and salsa if desired.
