Ingredients For sweet potato pie

    medium cooked and peeled sweet potatoes
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 can
    evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt ,
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp
    each of ground clove and ginger
  • 2 Tbsp
    self rising flour
  • 2
    9 inch pie shells

How To Make sweet potato pie

    Cut up sweet potatoes Into a large bowl beat until smooth , add the remaining ingredients into bowl beat together till smooth, pour into pie shells

    I like to sprinkle 1 tsp. of sugar over top for extra sweetness

    Bake at 400 about 45 minutes / until tooth pick comes out clean let cool 20 minutes. Serve warm or cold with Vanilla Ice Cream or Whipped Topping (YOUR CHOICE)
