I found this recipe in a church cookbook I found, fabulous...family loved it!!you can use any kind of pie filling you like, but I especially like strawberry...something about strawberry and cream cheese, just makes for a yummy combination.Enjoy

Ingredients For surprise cobbler

2 pkgcrescent rolls
-
1 pkgcream cheese (8oz pkg)

1 csugar
-
1/2 cbutter, melted

1 canpie filling (your choice)
How To Make surprise cobbler

1In a large size baking dish, spray with cooking spray. layer 1 can of crescent rolls.make sure seams stay sealed, press in place lightly, all the way to the edges of dish.

2In a small mixing bowl,beat cream cheese until creamy,about 1 minute. Add sugar,beat until blended. Spread mixture on top of crescent rolls,then spread pie filling on top of cream cheese mixture.Gently lay the other can of rolls on top of filling. Using a brush, gently dab butter all over rolls.

3In a preheated oven @ 350 degrees, bake for apprx. 20 minutes, or until rolls are a nice brown.(you'll want to make sure the bottom rolls are done, and not doughy)let cool about 30 minutes.
