This is another wonderful dough for pies of any kind. freezes well for up to a month or so.

1/4 c+ 2 tbsp. sour cream

2 Tbspice water

1 tspsugar

3/4 tspsalt

21/4 call purpose flour

1/4 ccake flour

1/2 cbutter, unsalted, cold

1/2 cvegetable shortening, chilled
How To Make sour cream pie crust dough

1Combine sour cream,water, sugar and salt in small bowl.Cut in butter and shortening with fingers or pastry blender (you know I use my fingers :). mix to course meal.,

2Add sour cream mixture and stir just until dough forms. turn out unto lightly floured work surface,Divide dough in half. Form each half into ball; flatten to disk. wrap in plastic and refrigerate 1 hour. or can freeze ahead for a month

3make into whatever you like.
