Many years ago my mother made peach kuchens with peaches from our back yard. I've tried for years to replicate that taste and this is the closest I've come.

Ingredients For sour cream peach pie

2pie crusts

3 lbpeaches, peeled and sliced

1 cgranulated sugar

1/4 tspsalt

5 Tbspflour
-
1/2 ptsour cream
-
2 Tbspsugar

1/4 tspcinnamon

dashnutmeg
How To Make sour cream peach pie

1Fill pie shell with peaches.

2In small bowl, combine 1 c. sugar, salt, flour and sour cream and pour over peaches. Cover with lattice crust.

3Combine 2 T. sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and sprinkle over pie.

4Bake at 450° for 15 minutes, then reduce to 350° for 40 minutes.
