Ingredients For so easy banana-caramel pie

1baked 8" pie shell

1/4 ccold water
-
2egg yolks
-
1/2 csugar
-
1/2 cbrown sugar

1/4 cflour
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1 cboiling water
-
1 Tbspbutter
-
1/2 tsppure vanilla extract

3 or 4ripe bananas
-
enough lemon juice to brush bananas

whipped cream
How To Make so easy banana-caramel pie

1In saucepan, mix cold water and egg yolks. Combine sugars, flour, and salt; stir into yolk mixture. Gradually add boiling water, stirring briskly. Cook, stirring, 3 to 5 minutes til smooth and thick.

2Add butter and vanilla; cool 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour into baked pie shell. Refrigerate several hours.

3Serve: Slice bananas and brush with lemon juice. Arrange over pie filling. Spread whipped cream over all.
