1 cflour

2/3 cbrown sugar

1 Tbspbutter, crumbled

1/2 cdark molasses

1/2 ccorn syrup

3/4 cboiling water

1 tspbaking soda

1egg, beaten

1pie shell
How To Make shoofly pie

1Preheat oven to 375*. Mix the flour, brown sugar, and butter together in a small bowl.

2In another bowl, mix the molasses, corn syrup, boil water, baking soda, and beaten egg. Add half the crumb mixture to the liquid mixture, but do not beat. Pour into the prepared pie shell and cover the top with the remaining crumbs.

3Bake for 10 minutes, then lower the temperature to 350*. Bake for another 30 minutes.
