    light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • 2 Tbsp
    bourbon
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1
    9-inch unbaked pastry shell (or make your own)

How To Make run for the roses pie

  • 1
    Combine the first 5 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; beat with an electric mixer at medium speed until blended.

    Stir in the pecans and chocolate morsels.

    Pour into the pie shell. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 45 to 50 minutes or until the center is almost set.

    Cool on a wire rack.
