I remembered making this with my grandma when I was about 5. So easy I couldn't forget. My family loves loves loves this stuff. Fantastic for the warm spring days and steamy summer nights. Have turned on a few to the beauty of rhubarb with this .

Ingredients For rhubarb strawberry pie

  • 4 c
    sliced rhubarb
  • 1butter qt
    sliced strawberry
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • pinch
    nutmeg
  • pinch
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • pie crust double

How To Make rhubarb strawberry pie

    Prepare crust

    Melt butter in skillet add sliced rhubarb and strawberries

    Cook over med high @ 3 minutes then add remaining ingredients and simmer untill rhubarb is tender @ 10 min.

    Pour into crust and top with lattice or full crust with slits

    Bake 350 for 35 minutes. Cool place in frig to allow it to set up and chill Cut serve with whipped cream
