This is not a traditional cobbler, but one with a simple-to-make crust. I grew up with my Grandmother's "cobbler," which was made in a rectangular baking dish and was topped with her lovely, flaky pie crust that she folded over thickly along the edges...my favorite part, those edges! This crust is easier than my Grandmother's crust, but still very tasty with a nice flaky texture. This cobbler is delicious served with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

  • 3
Transfer to a greased 11x7 baking dish and dot with butter.
