We like Rhubarb pie This is a good recipe .I wish i had my grandma thomas,s recipe she made the best .But this is close to it.

Ingredients For rhubarb pie

  • pie pastry, for double crust pie
  • 4 c
    diced fresh or defrosted rhubarb
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 11/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    grated orange peel
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground mace
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp
    butter or margarine

How To Make rhubarb pie

  • 1
    Prepare pastry as directed. Toss rhubarb with flour,sugar,orange peel and mace.pour into bottom of crust;dot with bits of butter.Top fruit with lattice or plain crust.Pinch and crimp edge;slash top to vent.

    Bake at 450 oven for 10 min;reduce oven to 350 for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve ay room temperature.
