I found this recipe about 10 years ago and don't remember where. But I think its the best pumpkin pie I've ever had.

Ingredients For pumpkin streusel pie
- PUMPKIN PIE:

1/2 csugar

1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 Tbspflour

1 1/2 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspnutmeg

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspginger

1 can(15 oz.) pumpkin

1 can(12 oz.) evaporated milk

2large eggs, beaten to blend

10-inch pie pastry for a single-crust pie
- WALNUT STREUSEL:

1/3 cflour

1/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 Tbspminced crystallized ginger

1 tspcinnamon
-
1/4 tspnutmeg

2 Tbsp(1/4 stick) chilled unsalted butter, cut into cubes

1/3 cwalnuts, coarsely chopped
How To Make pumpkin streusel pie

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and ginger. Add pumpkin, milk, and eggs; whisk until well blended. Pour mixture into unbaked 10-inch pie pastry in pan. Sprinkle walnut streusel evenly over filling. Bake on the bottom rack until a knife inserted in center comes out clean, 60 to 65 minutes. Set on a rack until cool to touch, about 2 hours. Cut into wedges. Serve with whipped cream.

2For streusel: Mix flour, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg in medium bowl. Add butter; rub in with fingertips until coarse meal forms. Stir in nuts.
