one thanksgiving we burned some of the pumpkin pie crusts during our baking,instead of tossing them out I came up with this alternative.everyone loved it.

2 or 3pumpkin pies already baked, chopped up into pieces

2 jarcaramel

2 baggingersnaps crushed

1 jarwhipped cream, sweetened
How To Make pumpkin pie trifle

1chop into pieces already baked whole pumpkin pies lining the bottom of a trifle bowl.enough to cover the bottom

2heat caramel, pouring over pumpkin (should be like ribbons)

3cover with a layer of crushed ginger snaps, adding more ribbons of caramel, alternate the layers until the top cover with whipped cream or cool whip and chill until ready to serve
