Ingredients For pumpkin pie, mom's

    eggs, beaten
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt (i omitted)
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 13 oz
    canned pumpkin (small can is a different ounce)
  • 2 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 c
    milk (i used 3/4 cup due to ounce differences of pumpkin and evaporated milk)
  • 2 tsp
    pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 13 oz
    evaporated milk (different ounce amount, used whole can)
  • 2
    9" pie crusts

How To Make pumpkin pie, mom's

  • 1
    Combine eggs and pumpkin, add dry ingredients then liquids. Bake at 400 degrees 50 minutes.

    Note: a deep dish pie pan and an 8 inch regular pan used all the filling. Put the metal pans on a cookie sheet when you put it in the oven).
