i have two teenage girls who love to cook, so this is something they love to make together at thanksgiving.my mom never showed me how to cook, so i make sure to get my kids in the kitchen whenever i can. i hope you enjoy like we do!!

Ingredients For pumpkin pie

  • 2 c
    canned pumpkin (mashed)
  • 1 pkg
    8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    egg plus 2 yolks beaten
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 1
    pie crust shell

How To Make pumpkin pie

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees Bake shell 10 minutes, put foil around edges of crust to keep from getting to brown. remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes.

    Beat cream cheese with a hand mixer, add the pumpkin and beat til combined. Add sugar, salt. Beat the eggs, and yolks with milk and butter. Finally add the vanilla and cinnamon. Pour in baked shell and bake for 50 minutes. Let cool, and serve with whipped cream.
