Ingredients For pumpkin pie

2 lgfree-run eggs, beaten

1/2 cmilk

2 cmashed or canned pumpkin

3/4 cevaporated milk

3/4 cbrown sugar, such as demerara

3/4 tspground ginger, or to taste

1/4 tspground cinnamon, or to taste

1/4 tspground nutmeg, or to taste

1/8 tspground himalayan sea salt

1 lg(9 - inch) pie crust
How To Make pumpkin pie

1Preheat oven to 450ºF. In a large mixing bowl, add the beaten eggs and the rest of the ingredients. Line a 9” pie plate with pie dough and pour in filling. Place a pie crust shield and transfer to the oven and bake for only 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350ºF and bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until a cake tester inserted in the center of the pie comes out clean (or clean enough).

2Remove from the oven and quickly place a pizza pan over top. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes – longer and the pie will get soggy.
