Ingredients For pumpkin dessert

  • 2 c
    graham cracker crumbs
  • 7 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • sugar
  • 1 can
    (16 ounce) pumpkin
  • 1-1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    miniature marshmallows
  • 4
    eggs, separated at room temperature
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    ginger
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans

How To Make pumpkin dessert

    In 13 X 9 inch pan, combine crumbs and 3 tablespoons melted butter: press into bottom of pan: set aside.

    In large bowl, stir remaining butter, 1-1/2 cups sugar, pumpkin, milk, marshmallows, egg yolks, salt and ginger until blended.

    In another bowl, with mixer at high speed, beat egg whites until soft peaks form: beating at high speed, gradually sprinkle in 2 tablespoons sugar: beat until sugar is completely dissolved.

    With rubber spatula, gently fold pumpkin mixture into beaten egg whites: pour mixture over crumb mixture: sprinkle with pecans.

    Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
