Not sure where i got this recipe from. It really does taste like a pecan pie.My family loves this recipe.

pinto beans, cooked and mashed( i used refried beans)

sugar
1 tsp

vanilla extract

eggs, beaten
1 stick

butter, room temperature
1/4 c

chopped pecans

unbaked pie shell

How To Make pinto bean pie (imitation pecan)

Melt butter; cream with sugar.

Add eggs, vanilla and mashed beans. mix well.

Add pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes or until firm.
