Ingredients For pineapple chess pie

  • 1
    20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained well
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1
    stick of butter (not margarine), melted
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    coconut or to taste. if you like more add more

How To Make pineapple chess pie

  • 1
    Beat eggs, sugar, cornstarch, butter and vanilla together. Add pineapple, blend then add coconut, blend well. Pour into pie shell. Bake 30-40 minutes, at 325 degrees. until a knife inserted the the center pulls clean.

    For a more done crust prebake 10-15 minutes
