Ingredients For peggi's homemade mincemeat for pies

  • 3 lb
    lean beef, shredded or ground, precooked & cooled, unseasoned
  • 4 lb
    apples
  • 3 lb
    raisins
  • 6 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 2
    oranges, peeled, then ground
  • 4 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 4 c
    apple cider or grape juice or orange juice

How To Make peggi's homemade mincemeat for pies

    Mix all together & set in fridge overnight before using.

    Use as much as needed & freeze the rest.
