4 ozcream cheese

1/2 cmargarine, softened

1 cplain flour

1/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1egg

1 cpecans, chopped

1 Tbspmargarine

1 tspvanilla extract
How To Make pecan tassies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Patty Shells, First 3 ingredients: Combine cream cheese and margarine. Cream until smooth. Add flour, mixing well. Refrigerate dough, for at least 2 hours. Shape dough into 15 small balls. Put a ball in each muffin indentations of a small muffin cake pan. With fingers shape each ball until a small tart shell if formed. Set aside.

3Pecan filling, Next 5 ingredients: Combine ingredients in a small sauce pan. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until mixture is melted and well blended. Fill each patty shell 1/2 full with filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
