1- 3 oz pkgcream cheese

1/2 Cbutter

1/4 Csugar

1 Cflour

3/4 Cbrown sugar, packed

dash salt

1 Tsoftened butter

3/4 tspvanilla

3/4 Cbroken walnuts or pecans
How To Make pecan tassies

1Blend cheese, butter, sugar; stir in flour. Chill 1 hour or longer.

2Shape into 1" balls (24). Place into small lightly greased muffin tins; press dough against bottom and sides.

3Beat egg with brown sugar, butter, vanilla and salt just until smooth. Sprinkle 1/2 the nuts in tins; add egg mixture, then remaining nuts.

4Bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Cool before removing from tins.
