pecan pie
Although I am not typically a pecan pie baker, my husband loves pecan pie. I went back through my mother's old recipes and found this one. It was one of my dad's favorites, and my hubby loves it too!

Ingredients For pecan pie

1 cpecans (pieces or halves)

4eggs

1 csugar
-
1 ckaro syrup (white)

3/4 stickbutter

1pie crust shell (deep dish)
How To Make pecan pie

1Brown butter in a skillet.

2Combine sugar, eggs and syrup in a bowl. Beat in eggs well.

3Place pecans on the bottom of pie shell.

4Add browned butter to sugar mixture, and stir well.

5Pour sugar mixture over pecans.

6Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until it is completely set.
