Ingredients For pecan pie

1pie shell

1/2 cdark karo syrup

1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 cbutter
-
1 tspvanilla extract

4eggs
-
2 cwhole pecans
How To Make pecan pie

1Begin by melting the butter- Do Not Burn! While it is still hot, put in small mixing bowl and add syrup and sugar.

2Mix with a wire whip until smooth (until sugar had dissolved).

3Add the eggs and vanilla and whip for about two minutes

4Pour this mixture into the pie shell and top with pecan halves

5Bake at 325° for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean

6Cool in refrigerator before serving. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
