This is a simple but great recipe for pecan pie. I have been using it for many years. The filling has a "fluffy" texture. I also like to grind my pecans instead of chopping them

Ingredients For pecan pie

  • 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • dash
    salt
  • 2/3 c
    corn syrup, light
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 1-2 tsp
    all purpose flour

How To Make pecan pie

  • 1
    Combine sugar, corn syrup, eggs , salt and flour.

    Add pecans
  • 3
    Pour into 9 inch unbaked pie shell.
  • 4
    Bake at 350 degrees for 50 min. or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean
