My mother passed away at a young age. Making this pecan pie bring some fond memories of learning to cook in her kitchen with her. She blessed me in so many ways.

1/4 csoftened butter

1/2 csugar

3eggs

1 ckaro light corn syrup

1/4 tspsalt

1 cpecan halves
- CRUST RECIPE

1 1/3 cflour

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 ccrisco shortening

3 Tbspcold water
How To Make pecan pie

1Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add syrup and salt beating well after. Add eggs one at a time and beating well after each egg. Stir in pecans. Pour into a prepared 9" pie crust or make your own.

2Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is set. Cool before serving
