Ingredients For pecan pie

  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    dark karo syrup
  • 3
    eggs
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1
    unbaked pie shell

How To Make pecan pie

  • 1
    Cook, sugar, syrup, and flour until thickened. Beat eggs and add to the syrup and sugar a little at a time. Add the rest of the ingredients stirring constantly. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake 45 minutes until knife comes out clean.
