This recipe was given to me by the Postmistress of Niland, Cal. I have never tried it but she said it was her favorite.

Ingredients For pecan pie

1 cpecans halves or chopped coarsely

3eggs
-
1/2 csugar you can use white or brown

1 clight or dark corn syrup

1/8 tspsalt

1/4 cmelted butter

1 tspvanilla
How To Make pecan pie

1Prepare a pie with 1 bottom crust

2Beat eggs, add the sugar and syrup mix well then add salt and vanilla and last the melted butter or margarine.

3Place the pecans in the bottom of the unbaked pie crust. Pour in the filling and bake at 350* for 50-60 min. The nuts rise to the top of the filling and form a crusted layer. Eat and enjoy
