Ingredients For peanut butter pie
- CRUST:

1prepared chocolate cookie pie crust
- FILLING:

1 sticksalted butter, softened (1/2 cup)

1 jarpeanut butter, creamy (16 oz.)

1 1/4 cpowdered sugar

1/2 tspvanilla extract
-
1/2 tspsalt
- TOPPING:

1 1/2 csemi-sweet chocolate chips

3/4 cwhipping cream
How To Make peanut butter pie

1Beat butter until creamy.

2Add peanut butter; beat until well combined.

3Stir in the powdered sugar, vanilla and salt; beat until well combined and smooth.

4Pour mixture into chocolate cookie crust, smoothing out to the side.

5Place in freezer while preparing fudge topping.

6Over medium heat, bring cream to a slight simmer; remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips. Allow to rest 5 minutes, then stir until chocolate is melted and smooth (may return to very low heat, if necessary.)

7Remove pie from freezer. Pour chocolate over pie, smoothing out to the edge.

8Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour before serving (2 hours is better.) Refrigerate leftover.
