I made this pie today for our desert. I love apples dipped in peanut butter so why not try this. It smelled wonderful while it was baking. I found this recipe in my Hershey's Desert Cookbook.

18 ounce container sour cream

3/4 cpacked light brown sugar

2eggs

3/4 cflour divided

1 Tbspvanilla

1 tsplemon juice

1/4 tspsalt

4 cpeeled and thinly sliced apples

1unbaked 9 inch pie crust

1 cquick-cooking or rolled oats
-
1 tspground cinnamon

1 ccreamy peanut butter
-
1 Tbspbutter or margrine softened
How To Make peanut butter crumble topped apple pie

1Heat oven to 350 degrees

2Blend sour cream,1/2 cup brown sugar, eggs, 2 tablespoon flour, vanilla, lemon juice, and salt in a large bowl with a whisk. Add apples and stir until well coated. Spoon into pie crust.

3Stir together oats, remaining 3/4 cup flour, remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar, and cinnamon. Place butter and peanut butter in a microwaveable bowl on high 30 seconds or until butter is melted. Add to oat mixture; blend until crumbs are formed. Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples.

4Bake 55-60 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. Cool completely and store left over pie in refrigerate leftovers.
