I got this recipe from an old Taste of Home cook book years ago Its delicious and very easy to make. It says to chill before eating but I have eaten it warm and it was still delicious.

Ingredients For peaches and cream pie

  • 3/4 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 3oz. pkg
    non-instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter ; softened
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 29oz. can
    sliced peaches ; drained ; syrup reserved
  • 8oz. pkg
    cream cheese ; softened
  • 1/2 c
    white sugar
  • --------------------------
  • 1 Tbsp
    white sugar
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon

How To Make peaches and cream pie

    PRE-HEAT OVEN @ 350 deg.

    GREASED THE SIDES AND BOTTOM OF A 10" DEEP DISH PIE PAN IN A MEDIUM MIXING BOWL ; MIX TOGETHER , FLOUR , SALT , BAKING POWDER AND PUDDING MIX . MIX IN BUTTER EGG AND MILK ; BEAT FOR 2 MINUTES . POUR INTO PIE PAN ; ARRANGE THE PEACH SLICES ON TOP OF PUDDING MIXTURE. IN A SMALL BOWL BEAT ; CREAM CHEESE UNTIL FLUFFY ; ADD 1/2 CUP SUGAR AND 3 TABLESPOONS RESERVED PEACH SYRUP BEAT FOR 2 MINUTES ; SPOON MIXTURE OVER PEACHES WITHIN 1" OF PAN EDGE . MIX TOGETHER ; 1 TABLESPOON SUGAR AND 1 TEASPOON CINNAMON AND SPRINKLE OVER TOP . BAKE IN PRE-HEATED OVEN FOR 30-35 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN . CHILL BEFORE SERVING .
