My mother was known (and loved) for this pie! I don't know whether she acquired the recipe from someone, or she made it up herself. All I know is this pie is beyond delicious! She passed away in 2008 and we made 80 of these pies to serve at her funeral. My family will be upset with me sharing the recipe, but she (like me) cooked and baked to share with those she loved. I'm happy to share it with you for your loved ones.

Ingredients For peach deluxe pie

    pie crust shell
  • 1 lg
    canned peaches, drained
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    sugar (1 cup if using fresh peaches)
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour

How To Make peach deluxe pie

  • 1
    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2
    Artistically arrange the drained peaches within the crust.
  • 3
    Beat the egg, butter, sugar and flour (in that order).
  • 4
    Spoon the batter over the peaches.
  • 5
    Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes, or until the top turns a darker golden brown.
