I enjoy this Pumpkin Pie, as I only need to add McCormick's Pumpkin Pie Spice, which has the perfect blend of spices to make a delicious Pumpkin Pie.

Ingredients For old fashioned pumpkin pie

  • 1
    9-inch pie crust
  • 3/4 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    McCormick pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 can
    pumpkin puree (15-oz.)
  • 1 can
    evaporated milk (12-oz.)

How To Make old fashioned pumpkin pie

    Preheat oven to 425°F.

    In a small bowl, combine sugar, salt and pumpkin pie spice; then set bowl aside.

    In a large bowl, add the eggs. Using an electric mixer, beat eggs lightly.

    Stir in the pumpkin puree and spice/sugar mixture.

    Slowly, beat in the evaporated milk; until thoroughly combined.

    Pour mixture into already prepared 9-inch pie crust

    Bake in oven for 15 minutes.

    Reduce temperature to 350°F and continue baking for 40 minutes, or until knife inserted near center of pie comes out clean.

    Allow the pie to cool on a wire rack for 2 hours, then serve or refrigerate until ready to serve.

    Top each serving of pie with Reddi Wip Whipped Topping, or Cool Whip Whipped Topping.
