1 lgcold unbaked pie crust, store bought or homemade

1 csugar

1 ckaro dark syrup

1 pinchsalt

2 ccrushed pecans

3 lgeggs, beaten

2 tspvanilla

1 stickbutter (not margarine)
How To Make old fashion pecan pie

1in a medium saucepan, boil sugar, Karo syrup, and salt until it is rumbling softly and clear. Remove from heat

2Add butter and stir. Mix in crushed pecans. Beat in 3 beaten eggs and vanilla.

3Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees approximately 1 hour, until the top puffs up and cracks. Cool to room temperature
