no fail pumpkin pie

This is a great recipe. You don't have to add a bunch of sugar with the condensed milk. Light not to sweet but sweet enough custard like pie. If ya like it a little sweeter you can add 1/5 c of brown sugar. Thanksgiving must.

Ingredients For no fail pumpkin pie

  • 15 oz
    canned pumpkin
  • 1 can
    sweentend condensed milk
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    ginger
  • 1/4 tsp
    clove, ground
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg ground
  • 1
    9 inch pie crust
  • 1/5 c
    brown sugar. optional

How To Make no fail pumpkin pie

    Whisk eggs
  • 2
    Add condensed milk and whisk well
  • 3
    Add cinnamon clove ginger nutmeg and mix well ( if adding brown sugar do it now)

    Add pumpkin and mix well

    Pour into crust and bake in preheated 450° oven for 15 minutes

    Turn oven down to 350 ° and continue to bake 30 - 40 minutes or until crust is browned and pie is almost set.

    Serve warm or cold with whip cream
