This was my grandmother's recipe, and was my mom's absolute favorite pie! A very light pie, not as dense as most pumpkin pies. Enjoy!

Ingredients For nannie's pumpkin pie

1 cpumpkin, canned (not the pie mix)

1/2 cevaporated milk

1/2 cmilk
-
1/2 csugar
-
1 lgegg, well beaten

1/2 tspsalt
-
1 Tbspcornstarch
-
1 1/2 tsppumpkin pie spice

1pie crust shell
How To Make nannie's pumpkin pie

1Prepare your pie crust, place in pie plate, and set aside. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2Mix the pie filling ingredients together, and pour into the pie crust shell. Place in preheated oven.

3Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Turn the oven down to 300 degrees, and continue baking for an additional 45 minutes.

4Remove from oven, cool and serve!
