Ingredients For mystery pecan pie

19-inch deep dish pie crust

8 ozpkg. philadephia cream cheese

1/3 csugar

1/4 csugar
-
4eggs
-
2 tspvanilla extract

1/4 tspsalt

1 cchopped pecans

1 clight or dark corn syrup
How To Make mystery pecan pie

1Beat cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla and the salt in a small mixing bowl until thick and creamy. Set aside.

2Beat 3 eggs in mixing bowl only until blended. Add 1/4 cup sugar, corn syrup and 1 teaspoon vanilla; blend well.

3Spread cream cheese mixture in the bottom of pie crust. Sprinkle with pecans. Gently pour corn syrup mixture over pecans. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 for about 30 minutes, or until center is firm to touch. After the pie is baked, the filling will be at the bottom, the cream mixture will be in the center and the pecans will be on top.
