Blue Ribbon Recipe

Not a fan of sweet potatoes? This recipe will convert you. Sweet potato pie is an old-fashioned Southern pie. This version is especially creamy and rich in flavor. The blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground ginger creates a filling that's perfectly spiced. There's a teaspoon of bourbon that adds notes of caramel and vanilla enhancing the fall spices and upping the flavor. This is an exceptional sweet potato pie recipe for Thanksgiving or Christmas.
