Several year ago I began making this recipe. Every time I took it to a function, not a nibble was let. I hope you enjoy it too.

Ingredients For my favorite apple pie

4 cpeeled and sliced granny smith apples

1/4 corange juice, fresh

1 csugar
-
3/4 call purpose flour, sifted

1/2 tspcinnamon
-
1/4 tspnutmeg
-
pinchof salt
-
1/4 cbutter cut up while cool
-
whipping cream, optional
How To Make my favorite apple pie

1Pre heat oven at 375 degrees F. Butter a 9 inch pie plate. Arrange sliced apple in pie plate, mounding them up in the center. Pour orange juice over apples. set aside.

2in a medium sized mixing bowl combine flour, sugar,cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Cut in cool butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples.

3Bake 45-55 minutes until topping is brown and apples are tender. May serve warm with heavy cream if so desired.
