I use this recipe all the time and half the ingredients for one crust pie.

Ingredients For minnenite never fail pie crust

  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2+1/8 c
    oil or crisco
  • 1
    egg beaten
  • 3 Tbsp
    cold water
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    vinegar

How To Make minnenite never fail pie crust

    Mix flour and salt
  • 2
    Cut in shortening.Can use 2 knives with crisscross strokes

    Combine rest of ingredients and let sit for 1 minute.Make into a ball.

    Divide pastry in half. Roll pastry into a circle 2 inches larger than upside down pie plate.

    Fold pastry into fourths;place in pie plate and unfold and ease into plate pressing firmlu against bottom and side.
