I created a fourth sweet potato pie recipe, filled with my favorite candy bar: Milky Way. This pie crust is super good.

Ingredients For milky way sweet potato pie

6 Tbspmargarine, divided

20Milky Way minis, divided

1 cheavy cream, divided

8 ozcream cheese, softened

1unbaked pie crust (8 in)

3 lgsweet potatoes
-
1 clight brown sugar
-
1 tspsea salt
-
3eggs
-
1 cchilled chocolate milk
-
4Milky Way bars, sliced
How To Make milky way sweet potato pie

1In a small saucepan, combine 3 tablespoons margarine, 10 Milky Way minis and half the heavy cream over medium-low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool completely.

2In a medium bowl, combine the Milky Way cream mixture, cream cheese and remaining heavy cream; whisk together until blended.

3Spread over the bottom and sides of the pie crust. Cover with aluminum foil and freeze for 2 hours.

4Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

5Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil; add sweet potatoes and boil until soft, 20 to 30 minutes.

6Remove and discard skin; place potatoes in a large bowl, mashing them with a fork until the lumps are removed.

7Beat margarine, brown sugar, sea salt, egg whites, chocolate milk and sliced Milky Way bars together until blended.

8Pour into the prepared pie crust.

9Bake in the preheated oven until firm, about 40 minutes. Cool completely. Add remaining Milky Way minis onto the pie.
