6 cgranny smith apples, cored, sliced and divided

1/3 corange juice

1/2 tspvanilla extract

3/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 csugar

3/4 cflour

1 tspcinnamon

1/2 coats, regular

1/2 cpecans, chopped

3/4 cbutter, melted
How To Make meema's apple crisp

1Preheat oven to 325 degree's. I use either glass or non-stick pan (8 X 11). Butter the bottom and sides of pan.

2Slice apples in slices or chunks, this is your preference. Place one-half of the sliced/chunk apples in a bowl Mix orange juice and vanilla, pour one-half of this mixture of the apples. Mix the dry ingredients and sprinkle one-half of this mixture over the apples. Add remaining apples, sprinkle with remaining liquids and remaining dry ingredients, making sure that the apples are completely covered. When completely covered, pour into baking dish.

3Bake uncovered for 90 minutes or until bubbly and slightly golden.
