This Marvelous Custard has a flavorful Holiday zing that will keep you coming back throughout the year!! As a child, I can remember my mother always making Egg Custards during Christmas time. It became my favorite pie. For some reason she only made it at Christmas -time, Every time I bake it, it brings fond memories of her and the Holidays. Of course, I don't wait until then to make one!!! I'm sure you won't either. It's quick, simple, and Delicious!! Enjoy.

    eggs
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 21/2 c
    whole milk
  • 1
    pie crust shell``
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour or cornstarch

How To Make mary's merry egg custard pie

    Preheat oven to 350 Degrees. Using a fork, gently prick unbaked pie crust. Sprinkle lightly with sugar and brown for 10 minutes. Remove from oven brush crust with egg white to prevent soggy crust thus making crust seem raw. Set aside..

    Beat 6 Eggs Pour In 2 Cups of Sugar. Beat Well.

    Melt 1 Stick Of Butter

    Pour Butter in Sugar and Egg Mixture

    Add 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla. Mix Well

    Pour in 21/2 Cups of Milk. Add 1 Tblsp. of flour or cornstarch to thicken Mix Well.
