My Aunt share this recipe with me due to my family has a history of diabetes and were trying to watch out sugar intakes to avoid becoming one. We had a fantastic season this year and were blessed with Pecans. So we have made this lightly sweeten pecan pie alot since we have receive the recipe. It's so good, plus it's addictive too with each bite you take. We bake ours in a 13x9 pan because the crust is almost like the three ingredient cobblers. So their more than eight slices as you would get in a pie. It's hard to stop with just one serving, lol.
